Dubai Efoil Festival 2024 Results Overview
The Dubai Efoil Festival 2024 delivered an electrifying weekend for efoil riders and enthusiasts, hosted by Esurf Watersports and Surf House Dubai. The event drew brand interest and was supported by Fliteboard, Breitling Watches and efoil solution, along with many other brands that attended the event site over the weekend! The event showcased the world’s top efoil athletes competing in thrilling races on the stunning waters of the Arabian Gulf, in the fronds of Palm Island at Th8 Hotel.

This year’s competition was a game-changer, with the Efoil Racing League team introducing an innovative track racing format and time trials that pushed competitors to their limits on both speed, and technical skill for breaking, turns and flow. The meticulously designed course set a new benchmark for competitive efoiling, offering equal parts excitement and technical challenge.
Men’s Division - Drama and Triumph
The men’s final was a heart-stopper, with a dramatic upset marking the end of the race. Time trial winner in pole position Simon Axmann (@xman.simon, Germany) was leading comfortably until a fall in the final lap dashed his hopes for victory in the final. Capitalizing on the moment, Justin Chait (@justinchait, USA) surged to the top spot, securing a hard-earned first-place finish. Tom Court (@courtintheact, United Kingdom), another crowd favorite, faced his own challenges after a fall in the quarterfinals. Despite this setback, he battled back to clinch third place against Thomas Radiguet from Manta Foils.

Women’s Division: Precision and Grace
The women’s races were equally exciting, with Agnieszka Abramowicz (@aga.abram, Poland) delivering a flawless performance to claim first place. Natalja Taresenko (@nataljatarasenko, Latvia) earned second after a tight contest, while Antonella Magen (@baeenella, Ecuador), easily a favourite for the top spot had control issues mid lap and fell. This landed her in third place on the podium. These incredible athletes highlighted the growing depth of talent in women’s efoiling.
